There are two types of Financial Aid at The New School - Federal Aid and Institutional Aid.

The University Office of Financial Aid administers all federal and state financial aid programs, including Federal Work-Study (FWS), New York Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), Veterans' Assistance, Federal Subsidized Stafford Loans, Federal Perkins Loan Program, and Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loans.

The Office of Academic Affairs and Scholarships coordinates all assistantships, scholarships, fellowships, and other institutional awards at The New School for Social Research. For more information, contact the Office of Academic Affairs and Scholarships.
