A student
advisor, who is an advanced student, assists sociology students
in planning their programs of study, offers advice on program requirements,
and provides information. The student advisor also acts as a liaison
between students and faculty and participates in orientation activities.
Students are expected to consult with the student advisor at least
once during each semester. Forms are available from the student
advisor to record the advising sessions and to be placed in the
student's file.
