The History & Sociology Departments present a talk by Professor Dina Khapaeva on Feb 25th at 6pm. Prof. Dina Khapaeva, Director of the Smolny Collegium and Associate Director of the Smolny College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, who has spent several years in France at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, is visiting the New School for the first time. Almost ten years ago she translated Pierre Nora’s Lieux de Memoir into Russian.
