New School Jazz student Linton Smith (trumpet) presents his senior recital.

Linton's recital will be a display of the work he has done in his four years at the New School while also paying tribute to those who have influenced him before those four years.

Linton Smith II is a trumpet player from New Orleans, LA. He has been playing music for about 10 years now. His musical influences range from people like Louis Armstrong, to Donny Hathaway, to Jimi Hendrix, to the likes of Miguel. Linton tries to take all these great artists and meld them in with his own expression to create his music.
