New School Jazz student Phillip Racz (bass) presents his senior recital.

This program takes an angled view at the standard jazz repertoire; slight shifts in arrangement serve as a springboard for a developing group dynamism.

Phil Racz has been performing and working in the NYC and Washington DC areas in theatre, klezmer, and jazz and rock bands for the past ten years. He is thrilled to be part of the New School community as a double bassist and also enjoys studying and performing the accordion in his spare time.
