Poetry Forum: Michael Klein

Michael Klein’s new book of poems, The Talking Day is just out from Sibling Rivalry Press.  His books of poetry and prose: Track Conditions and then, we were still living were Lambda Literary Award finalists and his first book of poems, 1990 tied with James Schuyler to win the award in 1993. A chapbook of short lyric essays, States of Independence won the inaugural BLOOM Chapbook Prize judged by Rigoberto Gonzalez and his work has appeared in Ploughshares, Tin House, Provincetown Arts, New England Review, American Poetry Review, Poets & Writers as well as many other on-line and in print publications.  In addition, he is presently writing a column for Los Angeles Review of Books.  He teaches in the MFA Program at Goddard.
