Glen Finland is the author of Next Stop, a summer 2012 Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Pick and Penguin's 2012 Book Club Pick for National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Glen's freelance work has appeared in many publications including the Washington Post, Family Circle, Autism Speaks, and American Magazine. A featured autism advocate in various news outlets, including NPR and CNN, Finland is also the author of The Sweetgrass Code, The Inside of an Egg, and the play, Changing Places: A Kid’s View of Shelter Living. She is the recipient of the Southeastern Writers Association Best Fiction award and a Noted Writer from the Boston Fiction Festivals. Nana Brew Hammond has written for AOL, Parenting Magazine, the Village Voice, Metro and Trace Magazine. Her short story "Bush Girl" was published in the May 2008 issues of African Writing and her poem, "The Whinings of a Seven Sister Cum Laude Graduate Working Bored as an Assistant," was published in 2006's Growing up Girl Anthology. A cum laude graduate of Vassar College, she attended secondary school in Ghana. She is the author of the novel, Powder Necklace. Deborah Henry’s first novel is The Whipping Club. She is an active member of The Academy of American Poets, a Board member of Cavankerry Press and a patron of the Irish Arts Center in New York. Her first short story was published by The Copperfield Review, was a historical fiction finalist for Solander Magazine of The Historical Novel Society and was longlisted in the 2009/10 Fish Short Story Prize.
