Open House NY: The New School Art Collection and Tishman Auditorium

1:00 p.m.

Tishman Auditorium
Silvia Rocciolo, co-curator of the New School Art Collection, will highlight selections from the collection, including the Orozco murals.

The Collection holds over 2,000 works, most of which are displayed in the public spaces around the university. This tour highlights important 20th-century works of art and architecture, including site-specific works by Jose Clement Orozco, Sol LeWitt, Kara Walker, and Martin Puryear. Visitors will also gain access to one of the city’s great Modern interiors - Joseph Urban’s Tishman Auditorium, an inspiration for Radio City Music Hall.
