This two-part event will include a lecture on water challenges and opportunities by guest speaker Helen Neuhaus, and the world premiere performance of Mannes faculty member and composer Faye-Ellen Silverman's new clarinet concerto – Orchestral Tides - featuring clarinetist Ashlee Miller. The conductor will be Solene Romieu. Ms. Neuhaus is the president of Helen Neuhaus & Associates – a public involvement consulting firm that focuses on infrastructure planning and design.
