Mind-Body Healing Through the Arts Session 4 - Music Wellness: The Next Wave

Award-winning author and music therapist Dr. Louise Montello presents “Music in Wellness: The Next Wave,” the final lecture in a series by renowned professionals in the field of creative arts therapy (CAT). Montello will focus on the latest neuro-biological research on music and healing and demonstrate cutting-edge music therapy exercises for stress reduction, mood and immune system enhancements, and performance mastery.Louise Montello is a board-certified music therapist/psychoanalyst and author of Essential Musical Intelligence; he is the coordinator of the Creative Arts Therapy Program at The New School and director of Performance Wellness, Inc.The field of creative arts therapy is rapidly gaining recognition as an essential component of health care.
