On Monday, May 11, New School Jazz Faculty member Kamal Scott directs students from The New School for Drama and The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in a cabaret evening at downtown mainstay club, Sweet Rhythm. An annual event, the sets are the culmination of work developed within Scott's Cabaret class, available to students from both these divisions of the New School.

Sweet Rhythm is located at 88 7th Avenue, (just south of Christopher Street), with sets at 8:00 and 10:00 p.m. General Admission is $10 cover/$10 minimum; New School staff, faculty, and students with valid id no cover/$5 minimum. Call 212.255.3626 for reservations.
