A film by Meghna Damani (’07) was accepted for the Indo-American Arts Council (IAAC) Film Festival, to be held in New York November 7–11. Damani’s film Hearts Suspended examines the struggle of highly educated South Asian immigrant women to survive in the United States on their H4 dependent spouse visas, which deny them work authorization.
