Cuba
In 2007 the Journal Donation Project extended its work to Cuba. Our work in Cuba is currently funded by one year grants from the Christopher Reynolds Foundation, Newman’s Own Foundation, Ford Foundation/IIE, Samuel Rubin Foundation, Rockefeller Financial Services and OSI. The need for current research journals remains strong and we are constantly looking for new sources of support for Cuba. With this funding we are working with the Institute of Information Science and Technology (IDICT), the University of Havana, and the University of Camaguey to provide print scholarly journals and electronic databases.
