East and Central Europe Program Quarterly Bulletin

The Bulletin was conceived as an instrument of communication between the New York office and our colleagues and collaborators in the region. It quickly became a forum for the exchange of ideas and news, as well as an ongoing evaluation of ECEP activities. The Bulletin is recognized as a noted resource for scholars, students, and journalists, as well as a wider audience interested in the new Europe. Its circulation began in the fall of 1990. Since then its readership has reached 2000. The 24th issue appeared in December 1996 and features a special article by Adam Michnik, entitled "Gray is Beautiful."
