  • Campus Presence

The key to successful recruiting is a strong campus presence. Establishing your company’s presence at The New School is best achieved through an integrated approach involving a range of activities. In addition to posting internships and jobs online, searching our resume database, and identifying top-notch candidates at internship/career fairs, you should think about things you can do to make your organization attractive to New School students.

The checklist and workshop/event descriptions below have been developed by the Center for Student Success - Careers to support your recruiting by helping you get involved on our campus.

A Checklist: How to Market Your Company to Students

    • Partner with the Center for Student Success - Careers to work with relevant student clubs

    • Attend a New School Internship/Career Fair
    • Hold a Corporate Presentation for New School students
    • Volunteer as a mentor
    • Offer tours of your company to students

    Typical Campus Workshops/Events

Company presence on campus is a great way to market your job opportunities and create a buzz about your organization. If unable to send a representative, sponsor a table where we can distribute your literature and direct traffic to your company website and/or your designated contact person.
