All graduates of New School degree and certificate programs are encouraged to continue using Career Development counseling services, job-search tools (College Central*), workshops, and other resources.
As a graduate, you are automatically enrolled in the The New School
Alumni Association. If you have not yet done so, go to their website to activate your membership and
learn about membership privileges. This is all you have to do in order
to use Career Development services after graduation. There is no fee.
Active members of the alumni association receive notices of career
development events for alumni.
Alumni can schedule an appointment with a career counselor by calling 212.229.1324 or sending an email to email@example.com and providing their name, year of graduation, and academic program.
Note: If you registered with College Central as a student, your account was changed automatically to alumni status when you graduated. If you do not yet have a College Central account, register now as an alumnus and post your résumé. There is a a College Central link on this page with instructions. Contact Career Development if you need assistance in using this tool.
We also encourage our alumni to share their wisdom with new generations of students by coming back to the New School to
share experiences at career development workshops and events and/or by volunteering as
mentors for students and other alumni interested in working in your field. Send email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what you can do.
