The Office of Career Development serves degree and certificate students and alumni of the following divisions:
The New School has a long tradition of fostering creativity, intellectual inquiry, and positive social change. Within this framework, our purpose is to educate, support, engage, and inspire students and alumni in their career development. We do this by providing innovative programming, counseling, educational resources, and opportunities to network and build positive relationships between The New School and the world.
All academic and administrative departments at The New School share in some ways the mission of Career Development: Prepare our students for meaningful and productive lives beyond the university. Career Development has a partnership program through which we work directly with members of the faculty (and members of administration) to support and enrich our career services. Whether your students are planning for graduate school or preparing to enter the workplace, they benefit from partnerships forged between Career Development and your department. Contact us today for more information or to discuss how we can meet your students' and alumni's career development needs.
The Office of Career Development is a New School Safe Zone.
