Are You New School Day is your opportunity for an insider's view of The New School for Public Engagement's undergraduate programs for transfer students, working adults, and other students interested in a non-traditional college experience.

Rethink College
Expect more from your university. At The New School for Public Engagement, transfer and adult students are not an afterthought. We started rethinking undergraduate education in 1943, and we invite you to do the same. We offer:

  • A flexible course of study that lets you to complete your bachelor's degree on-campus and/or online
  • Both day and evening classes at our Greenwich Village campus
  • Hundreds of courses every semester in a wide range of academic disciplines
  • The option to earn a professional certificate while concurrently completing your bachelor's degree
  • The possibility of earning credits toward a master's degree while completing your bachelor's degree in our Bachelor's/Master's Program
  • Need- and merit-based scholarships (Resources include $100,000 available annually in our Community College Transfer Scholarship Fund.)

10:00-10:45 a.m. Jazz Brunch Mingle with members of our faculty, admission staff, and current students and enjoy a relaxing brunch to the sounds of a live jazz ensemble (featuring New School Jazz students).
10:45-11:15 a.m. Welcome to the NSPE Undergraduate Programs Bea Banu, Dean of Undergraduate Programs
11:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Panel Discussion and Q&A Current students, alumni, and faculty members from The New School for Public Engagement.
12:00-1:00 p.m. Campus Tour (optional)
