Are you ready to earn your bachelor's degree? The New School makes it easy for working adults and others who seek a non-traditional college experience. You can transfer up to 84 credits and study part-time or full-time on campus or online, creating a path of study tailored to the goals and issues that matter to you.

Students in The New School for Public Engagement (NSPE) Undergraduate Programs take a range of foundational and innovative courses in subject areas including psychology, literature, media studies, journalism, foreign languages, teaching English to speakers of other languages, creative arts therapy, management and business, food studies, environmental studies, global studies, and more. View all courses available to NSPE undergraduate students, including opportunities for study in other New School divisions.

Once admitted to the NSPE Undergraduate Programs, students can pursue certificates in addition to the bachelor's degree in liberal arts; apply to the Riggio Honors program in writing and democracy; go further faster with an accelerated bachelor's/master's program; and earn credits for relevant prior learning or through internships in the NYC area. Financial aid and scholarship opportunities are available. If you are a veteran, you or your dependents may be eligible for VA education assistance.
