  • Google Apps for Faculty and Staff

    All faculty and staff email accounts have switched to Google! All students already have access to New School Google Apps. To learn more about the Google Migration for faculty and staff, visit http://www.newschool.edu/google.

  • AT Printing

    Wireless printing has been available at 55 West 13th St. since May 19, 2011. We are now extending this service to the following locations:

    6 East 16th St.
    25 East 13th St.
    Student Study Center - 90 Fifth Ave.
    Gimbel Library - 2 West 13th St.

    Check the Wireless Print web page for details on how to access wireless printing services on campus.

  • Labs and Classrooms

    New voiceover recording booth, i818-Voiceover, connected to audio suites i820-Audio03 and i817-Audio04 is now available at 55 West 13th St., 8th floor. Check configuration and workflow details in our FAQ.

  • Hardware and Software Upgrades and Deals

    Minor upgrades were implemented during the winter break and are now available on all Academic Technology lab and classroom computer stations: Adobe Lightroom 3.4, Sibelius 7, 3D Studio Max Design 2012, DesignBuilder 3, and ArcGIS expanded version.     Software deals - ArcGIS: the university is pleased to announce that, beginning in September 2011, ESRI [Environmental Systems Research Institute] has donated a five-year, university-wide site license for a comprehensive range of their Geographic Information System software ArcGIS, including DesktopGIS10, ServerGIS, and MobileGIS. All students, faculty, and staff will have access to the desktop software in the university computer labs. Students, faculty and staff may request a personal copy of ArcGIS by contacting helpdesk@newschool.edu.

  • Equipment Center

    After the launch of a new and more intuitive reservation system, we are continuing to fine-tune the equipment reservation process with a view toward improving the overall customer experience. Please familiarize yourself with the Equipment Center guidelines and policies by logging into MyNewSchool > Student or Faculty tab > Academic Technology channel > Book Equipment for Pick-up at the Equipment Center.
