Free AGI-32 Lighting Software for Parsons Lighting Design Students
AGI-32 provides calculations and renderings for lighting design and analysis, including electric and daylight conditions. Available only to current Parsons Lighting degree-seeking students.
Lighting students, here are the steps you take to download, install and register the software:
- Login at the AGI Web site:
a.
Enter the "LAI#" for Parsons: LAI2073EDU
b.
Enter your New School Groupwise email address.
(Only a correctly matching pair of LAI# and Parsons Lighting student's Groupwise email will work. Otherwise, you will get an "invalid account" error. Contact the Parsons Lighting department if for some reason your email is not listed with AGI.)
- Download the AGi32 installer
a. Click on the link for the installer: AGI32EDI-191-NewInstall.EXE (or similar, the most current version)
b. When prompted, save the file to disk rather than run from the Web.
- Double click to install, and follow directions (there are no choices)
- Start AGI32
- Complete the user information (AGI will not register it
without complete user info.)
- Click the link to email the registration info to AGI.
- AGI will generate the installation key and return it to you via email.
- Copy and paste the key into the field provided on the program's
opening screen.

Free registration is renewed on an annual basis for continuing Lighting students.
