Wireless Printing Introduction

Who & What

Wireless printing is available to degree/credit-seeking students, faculty and staff on select Academic Technology printers. The wireless printing software is available for download so that you may enable your personal laptop to print using the print points allocation associated with your NetID.

Where

Wireless printing from personal laptops is available at the following locations:

55 West 13th St.
6 East 16th St.
25 East 13th St.
Student Study Center - 90 Fifth Ave.
Gimbel Library - 2 West 13th St.

Please note that you are required to log on to the capmus wireless network in order to submit your files to print.

Why

This initiative was developed in response to wishes expressed by you, the student body and various university representatives. This effort is intended to increase the flexibility of facilities use, to ensure the resources you need are available to you when you need them.

How

In order to configure your laptop to print to Academic Technology printers using TNS wireless network, you will have to download and install the Academic Technology pay-to-print system. This software will enable you to authenticate the print transaction against your NetID printing account.

Please make sure you review the Wireless Printing Terms of Use, before you download and install the wireless printing software.
