A: When you launch your browser and try to go to the Internet, your browser will redirect you to a page that will instruct you to login. To login to "newschoolnet" you need to know your NetID username and password. Your password should be kept secret. Do not ever write it down or share it with anyone.
- If your device is running a Microsoft Windows or Macintosh OS X operating system you will also need to have the Safe•Connect policy key installed and running. Microsoft Windows computers will additionally be required to have anti-virus software installed and up-to-date.

A: Safe•Connect is a network access control technology. Safe•Connect will require users to login with a NetID username and password to connect to the "newschoolnet" wireless network. When you login, the system records which network address you were assigned and how long you used it. You are responsible for all acts performed using your account, so don't share your NetID username and password with anyone. If you are concerned that someone may be able to use your account, change your password immediately.
