Groupwise WebAccess Rules: Forwarding Your Email



New School GroupWise users can access their email over the internet at http://groupwise.newschool.edu/

A forwarding rule can be setup that will deliver your email to another email account. The original copies of your
email will be left in your GroupWise account you delete them.

If you set a rule that, for any reason, burdens the New School University email system, your
email account may be temporarily disabled.

TO SETUP A FORWARDING RULE IN GROUPWISE WEBACCESS
1. In the Webmail main window, click Options (shown below), the options window will be displayed.



2. Click the RULES tab.
3. In the TYPE dropdown list, select FORWARD.
4. Click the CREATE button to display the Create Rule window.
5. In the RULE NAME box, type the name you want to use for the rule.
6. If desired, define an OPTIONAL CONDITION to limit the items that are affected by the rule. If you do
not define an optional condition, the rule will be applied to all new items you receive.
7. Under DEFINE ACTION, type the email address(s) where you want GroupWise WebAccess to forward
your mail.
8. Click SAVE to save the rule to the Rules list.
9. By default, the rule is automatically activated. If you don't want the rule active at this time, deselect
the rule's Activate box > click Save.
