UNIVERSITY EMAIL VIRUS PROTECTION

The School email servers are configured to block messages that may contain viruses. All incoming mail is scanned for viruses. When a virus is found, the message is blocked from delivery. No notification is given to the sender or addressee.

In addition, email containing attachments with the following file extensions are always blocked or quarantined:

Email items having attached files with the following extensions are always blocked from being received. No notification is given to the sender or addressee. These file extensions are also being blocked when they occur within archive files like zip, arc, tar, etc. Archive files that are password protected are also blocked.
