Levan Alpaidze, NPM '05 was recently appointed commercial director of TELEIMEDI, a leading private television channel in Georgia. He is managing the commercial operations of TELEIMEDI, leading the day-to-day work of commercial department, and implementing various commercial projects. In 2006, Rupert Murdoch's media giant News Corporation formally became the Georgian media holding Imedi's partner after the two companies signed a final agreement. Imedi Holding unites the Tbilisi-based TELEIMEDI television channel and radio-IMEDI stations.

Desiree Dancy, HRM '98 has been named vice president, diversity and inclusion at the New York Times Company, where she will be responsible for developing, recommending, and leading the implementation of diversity and inclusion program initiatives. Desiree has 12 years of experience in corporate diversity at major investment banks in New York. Most recently, she was vice president, global diversity and inclusion at Credit Suisse.
Zachary Korb, URB '02 was recently named a "Civil Servant of the Year" by the Federal Executive Board of Minnesota. The designation is given to outstanding Federal employees that have demonstrated exceptional performance and dedication as public servants. Zach currently works for HUD in Minneapolis as a project manager in Multifamily Housing Development.

Matthew Hall, BS, HRM '00 is currently working at Michelin N.A. in Indiana, where he has been promoted twice in his six years working there. After graduation from Milano, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after almost nine years of service.

Christian Villenas, MS, URB ’02 is currently a doctoral student in sociology at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore where he is conducting research on racial and socioeconomic disparities in education, as well as the diffusion of new educational practices in schools. He is also a research associate fellow at the NAEP Education Statistics Services Institute and the American Institutes for Research where he conducts program evaluation and policy and statistical analysis on projects related to education.

Sheryl Santi Luks, MS, HSA '97 will be honored as "Woman of the Year" by the Rockland Business Women's Network (RBWN) at their annual awards dinner on June 14. She was chosen for her commitment to the community as well as her success as a female entrepreneur. Her company, Santi Express, a local and long distance moving business has been serving Rockland County for over 25 years. Previously she worked in nursing and helped start Rockland County's first alcohol abuse outreach service.
Charles Murray, ACFRE, MS, NPM '97 has recently been appointed director of philanthropy at Reformed Church Home, a nursing home and assisted living facility in New Jersey. This is a brand new position and in his new role, he will be responsible for the endowment and planned giving. He was previously director of planned giving at North Shore Animal League.
Ebru Demirel Dogruer, MS, HRM '00 is human resources director of a mid-size international transportation/logistics company. Based in New York and reporting to the CEO located in Istanbul, Turkey, her role is mostly internal consulting. She travels widely in Europe to develop and implement projects worldwide and also conducts interviews with subject matter experts in the human resources and organizational development fields in the United States and writes articles for two reputable human resources magazines in Turkey.

Erin Stratford, MS, NPM '06 recently became associate development director at Friends of Island Academy, an organization based in Manhattan that provides support services such as case management, job placement, drug/alcohol counseling, and GED and literacy programs to teens and youth who have been incarcerated at Rikers Island. She will focus on foundation and government grant writing as well as individual giving and the creation of a new development model for the organization.
Nick Gugie, MA, URB '86 heads up the income tax section within the New York State Division of Budget's revenue analysis unit. After earning his master's degree at The New School, he eventually received a Ph.D. in public administration from SUNY Albany. He lives outside Albany with his wife May Ellen and son, Alex.

Jennifer Raitt, MS, NPM '04 is the North Shore Housing Trust, Inc.'s founding Executive Director. The agency is based in Newburyport, MA and working in 34 Essex County communities north of Boston. They develop, provide technical assistance, and educate and advocate for affordable housing. Jennifer is also Vice-Chair of the American Planning Association's Housing and Community Development Division and will be joining the APA-Massachusetts Chapter Board to chair a new housing committee.

Rodney Christopher, MS, URB '92 has been promoted to director of Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF) Advisory Services. Previously he was project manager of the Nonprofit Recovery Fund, which raised and distributed $10 million to help New York City nonprofits recover financially from the economic impacts of September 11th.

Kamille E. Wright, MS, HSA '95 was recently appointed Chief Operating Officer of King Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. She was a former Administrator at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn. Kamille was the first President of HSA's ACHE Student Chapter and Organizer. She is also the former President of the New York Regional Chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executives. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing under her belt.
Kerric Peyton, BS, HRM '97 is the worldwide manager of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality at Noble Corporation in Sugar Land, Texas. He was previously enlisted in the U.S. Navy. His degree from The New School made him eligible for a management trainee program with his current company.
Raymond Tomczak, MS, URB '97 has been a senior planner at Edwards and Kelcey, one of the largest civil engineering and transportation planning firms in the U.S., for three years. In addition, he has recently attained professional certification through the American Planning Association by earning his A.I.C.P. (American Institute of Certified Planning). For the past two years he has also been a member of the Transportation Research Board Commuter Rail Transportation Committee. As a member of this committee he is preparing the research agenda for tomorrow's commuter rail problem areas to be studied by the National Academy of Sciences, as well as performing annual reviews of papers submitted to the committee.
Duane Baker, MS, HRM ’98 has joined Monticello Capital in Reston, Virginia as the firm’s first director of corporate and portfolio operations. He was previously a United States Navy Captain (Submarine Service).
David Espinosa, MS, URB '00 began working with Lenox Hill Neighborhood House in June 2005 in the area of administrative operations, including oversight of Human Resources, administering government contracts and relations, coordinating legal issues with outside counsel, and addressing organizational policy issues. Prior to this work, he managed and directed program staff and operations at social services organizations serving homeless men and women in Manhattan and East New York.
Ruby Thomasson, MS, URB ’03 has been promoted to senior analyst at the New York City Office of Management and Budget (OMB). She is assigned to the Miscellaneous Revenue department as the revenue liaison for the Health, Parks, and Technology departments, collecting fines and fees and issuing permits totaling $350 million per year.
Yolanda Caldera-Durant, MS, NPM '04 recently received the TRIO Achiever Award from the Connecticut Association of Educational Opportunity Programs for outstanding professional, educational, and personal achievement.
Charlene Binder, MS, OCM '04 has recently joined The Dannon Company in White Plains, NY as the vice president of Human Resources for North America. Previously she was senior vice president for Human Resources at Unilever Cosmetics International.
Levan Alpaidze, MS, NPM '05 returned to his country (Georgia) after graduation to work as a consultant for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). In June 2005 he developed a $3.5 million USDA grant proposal that was recently funded. This fall he was hired by the World Bank as a consultant for the field survey in rural Georgia and the development of the draft of the National Drought Measurement and Mitigation Plan with the Department of Hydro-Meteorology. Currently, he is working at an American nonprofit organization, CHF International, as coordinator of the Economic Unit, where he is developing and implementing a number of rural and urban economic projects for disadvantaged groups in the provinces of the Republic of Georgia. Levan says his education at The New School and his work experience in New York City played a major role in the successful continuation of his work career in his home country.
