Adam Kee, MFA, Acting, '07 is performing the role of Tom in Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie from August 20-30 at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse in Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire.

Mark Cajigao, MFA, Acting, ’08 has been selected to sing at the Rising Stars concert at Town Hall, New York City, in July. The concert will feature talent selected from some of the nation’s finest theatrical institutions and will be co-directed by Tony Nominee Emily Skinner and Nightlife Award winning vocalist Scott Coulter.

Elba Sette-Camara, MFA, Acting '05 was cast as police officer Peg Montero in the daytime television series "Guiding Light" in the fall of 2007.

Caren Skibell, MFA. Playwriting '07 was awarded "Best of the Festival" and "Audience Pick" in the ID America Festival for her play, Appetite.

Kristyl Dawn Tift, MFA, Acting '07 was cast as Aunt Em in the musical, The Wiz at True Colors Theatre Company, directed by Kenny Leon. The show ran December 20-30 at The Rialto Center at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kevin Jackson, MFA, Directing '98 just announced the launch of his website for Lobo Production Group (www.lobopg.com) and the completion of the trailer for their feature documentary, Legacy. Legacy follows the lives of nine young musicians during the South American tour of The Youth Orchestra of the Americas (YOA) and the return to their hometowns. Along the way, we get to know the nobility of these dedicated young professionals, the impact that music has had on their lives, and the impact they, in turn, have on the world that surrounds them. Kevin expects to wrap-up this March, in time for submission to the Cannes Film Festival.

Austin Basis, MFA, Acting '01 appears in the film, American Zombie, which will premier at the 2007 SLAMDANCE Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Corey Elias, MFA, Acting '01 spent two years touring with the national company of Susan Stroman's The Music Man, and is now in Las Vegas in rehearsals for Hats, soon to go out to New Orleans for a run until mid-spring.

Lauren Milberger, MFA, Acting '02 will star as Gilda Radner in Peace Arch Entertainment's Chapter 27, with Jared Leto and Lindsey Lohan, which will premier at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah Jan 25-27.

Kira Simring, MFA, Directing '04 is directed Blackout for The Cell Theatre Company, which ran off-Broadway in Theater Row's Kirk Theater January 6-27. Visit www.blackouttheplay.com for more information.

Drama graduates Steve Campbell '05, Nick Fleming '06, John Hart '05, Rich Hollman '04, Grant Kretchik '05, Jana Mestecky '03, Craig Rising '02, Gray Stevenson '05, Alok Tewari '04, and Alessandra Ziviani '06 performed director Staurt Vaughan's new adaptation of Carlo Goldoni's classic farce, The Servant of Two Masters, for The New Globe Theatre in New York City. The limited off-Broadway engagement ran December 22, 2006 through January 21, 2007 at Theater Three, 311 West 43rd Street, New York City.

Ted Nusbaum's, MFA, Playwriting '06 play, Colleagues, was selected as part of Tongue in Cheek Theater's First Annual TICkle Festival for New Comedic Works in New York City. (Jake Lipman '04 is
the company's artistic director.)

Michael Schwartz, MFA, Acting and Playwriting '97 was one of seven winners out of over 200 poets who entered the "Vent Your Inspiration Poetry Contest" sponsored by The Bowery Poetry Club and The NYC Straphangers Campaign. Poets were asked to write a poem in any form, expressing how they feel about the problems they experience as commuters on the NYC subway system. Michael will read his poem on December 3, 2006 at The Bowery Poetry Club, NYC, where one of award winners will be chosen as the overall winner of the contest. In addition, the performances will be filmed as part of a documentary film tentatively titled, "Subway Verse."

M.J. Karmi, MFA, Acting '98 finished shooting the feature film, Julia, in Mexico, directed by the French filmmaker Erick Zonka (Dreamlife of Angels), with Tilda Swinton in the title role.

Terrence Ivory, MFA, Acting '03 is the writer and director of In the Midst of Them, which opened November 30 at Contra Costa College in San Pablo, California.

Elizabeth June, MFA, Acting '03 is using her theater training to help at-risk students stay in school at Jamaica High School in Queens. Dance and drama programs are being offered at the school as part of the citywide Attendance Improvement Dropout Prevention Program. Elizabeth is assistant director of the program at Jamaica High, which offers after-school classes in art, dance, and drama, as well as field trips to plays, museums, local colleges, and the movies. She recently appeared and was quoted on this work in a New York Daily News article.

Chris Zonnas, MFA, Acting '03 recently wrote and directed the short film, "Stranger," (www.strangerthefilm.com ), starring Drama alumni Jennifer Malloy '03 and Joe Rowley '03, and assistant produced by Jacques Maroun '03.

Terry Burstein, MFA, Acting '04 was hired as a full-time professor in the Arts and Communications Department at LIM College in Manhattan where he teaches Modern Drama, Public Speaking, and Professional Communications. He has also published a booklet and produced a DVD for a college-wide initiative, Speaking Across the Curriculum, A Guide for Professors and Students. Additionally he is currently working with McGraw Hill on a new textbook.

David Ben Arie, MFA, Playwriting '02, Aurin Squire, MFA, Playwriting '05, and Shireen Deen, MFA, Playwriting '06 will have plays featured in The Vital Theatre Company’s "Vital Signs" New Works Festival. The three week festival of new, short plays began Thursday, November 30 and continues through December 17. Series Three, running December 14 through 17, will feature Ben Arie’s "Double Fantasy," Squire’s "It's Giuliani Time," and Deen's "Saffron."

Jennifer McCabe, MFA, Acting '98 will appear as Pennywise in Urinetown, The Musical with The Gallery Players in NYC.

Debbie Jaffe, MFA, Acting '00 is currently shooting a horror film called Timber Falls in Romania.

Suzy DeVore, MFA, Acting '01 is currently cast in Thornton Wilder's The Long Christmas Dinner at the Gorilla Theatre in Tampa, Florida. She was married in 2005 and currently works for Clear Channel Radio.

Marc Solomon, MFA, Acting '01 is producing a documentary (www.abrilliantblaze.com).

Daniel Ellis's, MFA, Directing '02 touring production of Stay Tuned, a musical revue starring Five by Design, will have its world premiere with the Arkansas Symphony on October 6.

Lauren Milberger, MFA, Acting '02 appeared in Corelone as part of the NY Fringe Festival this summer. She will also be in Beach Haven, New Jersey as Lala in The Last Night of Ballyhoo at Surflight Theater October 18-22.

John Patrick Bray, MFA, Playwriting '03 is an adjunct professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the Department of Performing Arts, and is currently directing Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Williams Gillette as the fall mainstage production. He also has been commissioned under a grant from the Acadian Arts Council in Lafayette to write a play entitled Dancing with the Virus. Dramaturg and Professor of English Keith Dorwick collected narratives from people who have been touched by the HIV virus, whether they themselves are positive or not. The narratives have been crafted into scenes and monologues that show how HIV has been spread to an older female and male population, and how others helped their loved ones through the roughest of times. Terrence Ivory's, MFA, Acting '03 play, In the Midst of Them, which is set to open December 1, will be produced by Contra Costa College where he is an adjunct professor. He also runs his own business: www.ivoryartsinc.com.

Victoria (Harder) King, MFA, Acting '03 has been hired as assistant director for Driving Miss Daisy at Syracuse Stage.

Kevin McKelvy, MFA, Acting '03 sang "God Bless America" at Shea Stadium for game 2 of the playoffs to the over 57,000 people in attendance. He will also appear in episode 2 of the new season of the Sopranos, has completed shooting commercials for Jeep, Carmax, and Twinnings Tea, which will show in England. In addition, he is in a family stage musical called Liberty at Workshop Theater in New York City and will sing the tenor role in Handel's "Messaiah" at the Cadet Chapel at West Point in December.

Doug Darwin, MFA, Acting '04 appeared on ABC's "Six Degrees" on October 5.

Luis Galli, MFA, Acting '04 performed in the new play, At the Table, which opened in London last year and opened in New York City this October at Where the Eagles Dare Studio.

Jake Lipman, MFA, Acting '04, artistic director of Tongue in Cheek Theater, reports her company has been selected by Prospect Theater Company's Dark Nights Series 2006-2007. "Wearing Me Down," three one-act plays, will be performed at The Chernuchin Theatre in New York City October 28-31. "Wearing Me Down" includes two plays by Colette R. Johnson (Playwriting '04), "Thanksgiving Dinner" and "Guitar." Featured alumni actors include Aaron Black '06, Jake Lipman '04, and Brian W.

Chantel Cherisse Lucier, MFA, Acting '04 just finished a two-month run at the Spiegeltent in New York City singing with "Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping." She will perform in the Experimental Theatre Festival in Ecuador with "The Living Theatre" this month. When she returns to New York she will continue with the "Shopocalype Tour" with the Stop Shopping Gospel Choir and will direct and act in woken'glacier's annual fall reading series in November.

Rhea MacCallum, MFA, Playwriting '04 was selected as a winner of TADA!’s 2006 Annual One-Act Playwriting Contest for her play, "The 7th Disorder," which was presented in TADA!’s 15th Annual Staged Reading Series in October.

Laura Rohrman, MFA, Acting '05 had a three-week workshop production of her romantic comedy My Life as You at The Producers Club 2 in New York City. The play starred Kelli Porterfield '05 and All My Children star Jeff Branson. Laura's other play, Reporter Girl, was named a finalist for the Princess Grace Fellowship.

Xanthe Elbrick, MFA, Acting '06 is performing in the one-act play, "The Other Half," by Jessica Provenz at The Gene Frankel Theatre in New York City.

Lenny Levi, MFA, Acting '06 will be appearing in a principal role in "Law & Order" this season. He also just completed filming Never Forever with Vera Farmiga (Scorseses' The Departed) to be released in 2007.

Liz Bartucci's, MFA, Acting/Playwriting '97 play, Point of All Return, has been selected as a finalist for the 2006 Heideman Award for the National Ten Minute Play Contest of the Actors Theatre of Louisville.

Peggy Brennan-Haberer, MFA, Acting/Directing '97 is in a show in Branson, MO with her husband and daughter called BLAST! She will return home to New Jersey at the end of August.

Suzen Murakoshi, MFA, Acting/Playwriting '97 directed a piece for the Greylock Project at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in July.

M.J. (Mary Jane) Karmi, MFA, Acting '98 stars in Flatbush, an independent film, which is a nominee for the Artios Award 2006. The Artios Award is presented by the CSA (Casting Society of America) for Outstanding Achievement in Casting each year. Her other film, Curtains, has been named an Official Selection in the 2006 Los Angeles International Shorts Festival in Hollywood.

Jennifer McCabe, MFA, Acting '98 is an acting teacher at NYU, Center Stage, American Theater of Actors, public schools (as a Drama Teaching Artist), and for private acting classes. She continues to perform in theater and film and current projects include a documentary, a solo show, and a new musical. Her website is www.jennifermccabe.com.

Austin Basis, MFA, Acting '01 plays lead roles in the upcoming films, BOXBOARDERS! and American Zombie. He has also booked national commercials for Toys 'R' Us, Wendy's, and Dr. Pepper, as well as a FOX Sports Net baseball promo and an Intel internet spot and plays the pig in a series of Ad Council PSA's encouraging people to save money, called "Feed the Pig."

Charlotte Cohn, MFA, Acting '01 finished recording the cast album of Happy End as the lead. The album will be released in early 2007.

Traci Hovel, MFA, Acting '01 had her husband opened a coffee lounge called The Grind in Sunnyside, Queens. Take the 7 train and exit on the 40th stop and it is on the corner of 39th Place. Traci says, "Stop by and say hello!"

Michelle Best, MFA, Acting '02 performed the role of Jill in Jeff Sweet's With and Without, under his direction at Blueberry Pond Theatre Ensemble in Ossining, New York this summer.

Elizabeth June (June Elizabeth Sewer), MFA, Acting '03 is currently a regular with the political comedy off-Broadway show "Laughing Liberally" as sponsored and advertised on Air America. Please see www.laughingliberally.com for the show schedule.

Kevin McKelvy, MFA, Acting '03 will appear as Agent Lunt on episode 2 of the Sopranos, as well as in the SAG independent Feature Liberty Kid. He also sang the national anthem and "God Bless America" at the Mets game at Shea Stadium on July 9.

Rebecca Lane, MFA, Acting '05 will be teaching acting at the Orange County High School of the Arts, beginning this fall.

Robert LaVelle, MFA, Acting '97 will perform in Caryl Churchill's play, A Number, at The Adirondack Theatre Festival, Glens Falls, New York.

Kit Lavoie's, MFA, Directing '01 play, Good Enough, is included in the Rising Sun Theatre Company's "Revelations," an evening of one-acts, which opened this month.

Daniel Stern's, MFA, Acting '02 feature film, This is a Business, played at three film festivals: The Village International D-Cinema Film Festival in Lisbon, Portugal; Dances with Films in Los Angeles, California; and St. Louis Filmmaker's Showcase.

Jorshinelle Taleon-Sonza's, MFA, Playwriting '02 play, Cold Flesh, will be staged this August at the Equality Plays Festival at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre on West 42nd Street in New York City. The play was commissioned by Diverse City Theater Company as part of a month-long theater festival of original one-act plays. For more information about the play, see the Alumni Bulletin Board page.

John Patrick Bray's, MFA, Playwriting '03 plays Southern Werewolf and Cover Magnets are included in the Rising Sun Theatre Company's "Revelations," an evening of one-acts which opened this month.

Dennis Gleason, MFA, Directing '03 has assumed the job of artistic director for the Strauss Theatre Center in Monroe, Louisiana, a theatre that is celebrating its 75th season. After a nationwide search, Dennis was hired for the position where he will direct several plays and musicals each season as well as be the public liaison for the local university and surrounding community.

Max Molina, MFA, Acting '04 appeared in Agamemnon in Los Angeles.

Kari Morris, MFA, Acting '04 recently participated in "Bible on Broadway," in which she performed a dramatic reading of several chapters of the Psalms. Afterwords, she was invited to help launch and be part of a Dramatic Scripture Reading Team at New York City's historic Marble Collegiate Church. This September, Kari will be entering Union Theological Seminary at Columbia University where she plans to earn a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Theology and the Arts. Kari wishes to use drama- through workshops and performance of her original pieces-to give voice to women's issues within the church; specifically, sexuality, sexual orientation, and body image.

Chuy Sanchez, MFA, Acting '04 is an Asuncion Playwrights Project finalist, with his play, God's Creatures, which was read July 1 at Pregones Theater in the Bronx.

Nedra McClyde, MFA, Acting '05 has been cast as the second witch in the Classical Theatre of Harlem's upcoming production of Macbeth with Ty Jones ("The Blacks") playing the title role. The show opens July 28th.

Laura Rohrman's, MFA, Acting '05 play, Getting in Touch with Your Dark Side, was presented by Developing Acts at the Producers Club in the Crowne Theatre, NYC, as part of their "Women in Boats" series, and starred Pernell Walker and Miranda Jonte. Laura's play, Without, is also included in the Rising Sun Theatre Company's "Revelations," an evening of one-acts, which opened this month.

Tiffany Ann Tang, MFA, Acting '01 has recently relocated to Los Angeles and will be dancing in the Stepping Stones Players production of Guys and Dolls, which opens in September. She also recently joined AFTRA.

Daniel Stern's, MFA, Acting '02 feature film, This is a Business, will be playing at three upcoming film festivals: The Village International D-Cinema Film Festival in Lisbon, Portugal, with the screening on June 24; Dances with Films in Los Angeles, California with a screening day sometime between July 21 and 27; and St. Louis Filmmaker's Showcase, with a screening on July 24.

Terrence Tyrie Ivory '03 presented a staged reading of his new play, In the Midst of Them, at First Stage in Hollywood, California on June 5.

Charlotte Cohn '01 will perform the lead role of Hallelujah Lil in Happy End, the Weill/Brecht musical, at A.C.T. in San Francisco.

Michelle Best '02 will be performing the role of Jill in Jeff Sweet's With and Without, under his direction at Blueberry Pond Theatre Ensemble in Ossining, NY this June/July.

Lauren Milberger '02 plays Gilda Radner in Chapter 27, an independent movie starring Lindsay Lohan and Jared Leto. The movie will come out sometime next year.

Philip Egan Schmiedl's '00 play, Ravenna, was selected as a semi-finalist in the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival. If selected as a finalist, his play will be published in their annual collection.

Matthew Paul Olmos' '04 short play, Wonders of the Human Body, was part of the 4 from The Velvet Cellar festival in New York City. The play was directed by A. Sayeeda Clarke '04 and featured Michael Billingsley '04.

Angie Harrell '05 is currently in Florida in the final week of rehearsal for "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof." She will be appearing in the role of Margaret on a Guest Equity Contract. The show opens April 20. In March, she completed filming "A Thousand Words," an FSU Film School production, in the lead role of Karen. In addition, Angie was recently hired as a teaching artist with Synchronicity Performance Groups' Playmaking for Girls, a playwrighting initiative in juvenile detention centers in and around Atlanta. In May, following "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," Angie will return to the Alliance Theatre as a teaching artist.

Laura Rohrman '05 spent the summer shooting "Unit-of-Cost," an 8-part mini-series filmed in Moscow, Russia and New York. The series recently aired on the NTV network in Russia. Also, Laura's play, "Reporter Girl," was recently named a semi-finalist for the O'Neill Playwrights Conference. The play will be presented as a staged reading as part of Divafest at the Exit Theatre in San Francisco on April 29. In May, Laura's short play, "Below 14th," a finalist in the 2005 Samuel French Festival, will be produced as part of the Lost Theatre Festival in London, England. (The play will be directed by Jamie Ramsburg '05.) In June, two of Laura's short plays will be produced in the Samuel French Festival.

Tracey Silver '98 will appear in the upcoming season of The Sopranos, which premieres Sunday, March 12 on HBO.

Genevieve DeVeyra '01 will appear in Ma-Yi Theater Company's production of "Trial By Water," by Qui Nguyen. The show opens at The Culture Project's 45 Below Theatre on March 26, 2006.

Michelle Best '02 performed in Jeffrey Sweet's New York premiere of "Bluff" at the 78th Street Theatre Lab in March.

Lance Irwin '02 appeared on the March 21st episode of "The Shield" as DEA agent Gallagher.

Malini Singh McDonald '03 established Black Henna Productions, a NYC based theatre company. Their first production was a reading of Poaching the Elite, which featured alumni Derek Straat '03, Michael Providence '03, Laura Frecon '03, and Chris Zonnas '03. Last year a full production of Deserters
was done which featured Keith Stevens '03 and Chris Zonnas '03. Both plays were written by Michael Quinones. She is also on the board of Beari Productions, a theatre company based in Middle Village. She recently directed Plaza Suite which featured Sylvia Walsh, Class of '00. Visit their website at

Kari Morris '04 has recently completed a national tour as well as made her Equity debut at "Don't Tell Mama Cabaret" as one of The Six Sirens. In late March, Kari will conduct a drama ministry workshop for youth in Summit, NJ. In late May, back by invitation, she will once again appear at "Don't Tell Mama" with The Six Sirens. The Six Sirens also include Holly Lynn Ellis '04.

Angie Harrell '05 will appear as Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in April. Currently she has a national commercial for Toyota running, as well as several smaller commercials and industrials. She also teaches at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.

Rebecca Lane '05 is appearing as Belle Starr in the musical, "Cowboys and Cowgirls," at Theatre West in Los Angeles.

Conrad Auchincloss celebrated his marriage to Susan Flanagan, August 27, 2005.
Liz Bartucci’s screenplay Everything Is Going To Be Alright was a selection in the 2005 IFP Market and Conference, and a semi finalist in the 2005 Queens International Film Festival. It is now optioned by Roadside Pictures. Her short play, Point of All Return, was a finalist in the 2005 Samuel French Off-Broadway Play Festival and, last year, her play On the Highway of Regret received the Hidden Arts River Award. Liz is also a Walt Disney Screenwriting Fellow (2002) as well as a recipient of the Walter E. Dakin Fellowship for the Sewanee Writers Conference.
Eisa Davis is in preparation for the premiere of her play Bulrusher at Urban Stages as well as appearing in the upcoming films All Fall Down and Confess.
Suzen Murakoshi was a guest of the DIALOG International Theatre Festival in Wroclaw, Poland sponsored by New York Theatre Workshop.
Mathias Pingel (now Matthew Sanders) is appearing as Aramis in a musical theatre production of The Three Musketeers at the "Theater des Westens" in Berlin, Germany, through June 25th, 2006.
Krista Smith’s company, Visible Theatre, performed Sam Forman’s Krankenhaus Blues, with Bill Green and Christine Bruno (98).
Lisa Stump has just joined the cast of Momsense, a musical review about the trials, tribulations, and sheer joy of motherhood.
Celeste Walker recently directed Precious, a new one-act play for Green Light Theatre’s GLO festival as well as appearing in the Palmer Project Production of The Women.

John Gazzale appeared in Barefoot Theatre Company’s Balm in Gilead with fellow Drama Alumni Joe McCarthy (00), Luca Pierucci (00) and Elizabeth June (03).
M.J. Karmi appeared in the film Curtains, which was part of the Los Angeles Film Festival.  She also appeared in Flatbush, which also was presented at several festivals and received a number of awards, including the Chicago Reel Short Film Festival’s Audience Choice Award.
Marina Kotovnikov and Matt Rashid appeared in Help Me Help Myself with The Looking Glass Theatre in New York City; Matt also directed the production.

Susan Kerner recently appeared in three Indie features: Half Nelson, Stephanie Daley, and Marvelous. Both Half Nelson and Stephanie Daley will participate in the main competition in the Sundance Film Festival.

Class of 2000
Al Bernstein has appeared as a recurring character on the Showtime series Street Time with Scott Cohen and Rob Morrow.  He is also a member of the Alley Theatre Workshop in Toronto, where his one-man show is in development.
J. Holtham’s play Creative Writing was directed by Kitt Lavoie (01) as part of Luna Stage’s New Moon Directors’ Lab.
Marianne Matthews wrote and appeared in a one-woman comedic play, Lunchtime at Lillipond’s, at Unison Arts Center in New Paltz, NY, directed by Zenon Kruszelnicki.

Polly Lee recently appeared in Ken Ludwig’s latest play Shakespeare in Hollywood at the Wilma Theater in Philadelphia. She is currently understudying in the Off-Broadway hit, Abigail's Party.
Orest Ludwig completed filming The Good Shepherd, appearing with Oleg Stefan, directed by Robert De Niro. He is now a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild.
Lloyd Suh, playwright and longtime artist with the theater company Second Generation has been named one of its Resident Artists.
Jason Williams and his wife Charlotte Cohn celebrated the birth of their daughter Imogen Riley Zvia Williams, September 15, 2005.  Jason also appeared in Neil LaBute’s Fat Pig at the Studio Theatre in Washington, DC and Charlotte will be appearing in a new play, The Murder of Isaac, at Center Stage in Baltimore.
Don Zolidis' play, A Night Near the Sun, will make its New York debut at 440 Studios, May 11-28.

Class of 2002
Sandra Brunell’s film Magda premiered over the summer in Reno, NV.
Irene Carl recently shot an independent horror feature Dead Rights and an independent pilot "The Overnight".  She also has a commercial running on Toronto's City TV, has done some modeling, and creates chaos with a local murder mystery troupe.
Codie (Fitch) Costello has taken a position with the Alaska Center of the Performing Arts in Anchorage.
Daniel B. Ellis is currently working as the technical director/lighting designer for the vocal jazz ensemble, Five By Design. The group performs around the country working with various symphony orchestras. Daniel is currently designing and directing the group's new show, "Stay Tuned," which will premiere this spring. "Stay Tuned" is a musical journey through the early days of television, chocked full of memorable songs, commercials, and sketches, all presented live and in living color. It will premiere with the Spokane Symphony in May.
Lauren Milberger is currently working with The Manhattan Comedy Collective and can be seen in a promo for the cable channel Oxygen. She just finished filming The Independent Movie: Chapter 27 starring Jared Leto and Lindsay Lohan. Lauren played Gilda Radner.
Jorshi Sonza has been commissioned to write a one-act play for the Equality Playwrights Group for their Summer Festival.
Daniel Stern had his first feature-length screenplay produced, which is currently in post-production.
Geoffrey Zeger is an Acting Coach for Long Leaf Opera in North Carolina which features new compositions in English.  Recent scores include Jackie O, Twelfth Night, Amahl and the Night Visitors and The Tempest. John Patrick Bray recently performed in Horse Trade’s production of Hellcab.
Laura Frecon appears as Brenda in the PBS children’s television series Kid Fitness.
Dennis Gleason guest directed Steel Magnolias at the Strauss Theatre Center in Monroe, LA.
Deborah Grimberg’s play Cycling Past the Matterhorn opened on Theatre Row in New York City.
Elizabeth Gutterman and her company, Stand-Up Girl Productions, presented her play On Dry Land.  The production was directed by Denyse Owens (05), and featured Jennifer Hyjack (03) and Kellie Arens (05).

Derek Straat has been acting regionally, completed an Equity tour, has had featured roles in a number of films and continues to teach.
Sarah M. Wilson began 2005 playing Yente in the 40th Anniversary National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof. Recently, she was seen in the Plaza Theatrical Productions New York tour of the two-person musical, I Do! I Do!

Michael Billingsley (see 05)
A’ndrea Blake announced her engagement to Joseph Reiter.  The couple was engaged in Venice, Italy on May 12, 2005 and plan to marry in September 2006 in Ireland.
Brian Cichocki directed the original play Kerry and Angie by Gerry Sheridan last summer for the Samuel French Festival, which won a Critic's Choice award and will be published in 2006 by Samuel French.  He is presently working at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre as a resident Assistant Director.
Sean Harris has recently been named Artistic Director of the West Hartford Summer Arts Festival in addition to his position as the Director of Theatre Arts at Hall High School, also in West Hartford.
Chantel Lucier performed with woken’ glacier wired, a work-in-progress, which she also conceived and directed at The American Theatre of Actors in New York City.  She recently toured with the production Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Gospel Choir
Kari Morris will be appearing as Iris in the national tour of the musical Children’s Letters to God with The Theatre for Young Audiences.  She becomes a proud member of Equity with this production.
Erica Ogawa (see 05)
Matthew Paul Olmos is the artistic director of woken'glacier theatre company, which was formed of ASDS alumni, Michael Billingsley, Chantel Lucier, Beth Manspeizer, Ronit Muszkatblit, and Eriko Ogawa. His new play, locomotive, will open their 2006 season this coming May at the Gene Frankel Theater. (www.wokenglacier.org)
Stephanie Shaw is on faculty at the Second City Training Center in NYC and can currently be seen at the Actor’s Temple in A Match Made in Manhattan…The Interactive Jewish Wedding Experience.
Kimberly Stewart recently directed a staged of Boom for Scripts Up! Productions.

Class of 2005
Adeel Akhtar appeared in the film Relevance directed by NYU student and Verizon award winner A. Sayeeda Clarke.  Michael Billingsley (04) served as location manager, Erica Ogawa (04) was costume assistant, and woken’ glacier (a theatre company founded by Drama Alumni) assisted with sets and properties.
Jonathan Albert and Adia Olympia appeared in Adam Rapp’s Blackbird with the Michael Chekov Theatre Company in New York City.
Kellie Arens (see 03)
Melissa Attebery directed Larry Gets the Call as part of EATFest: Fall 2005 with Christine Bruno (98).  The series also included Graeme Gillis (01) in the production of Wally and Jesus.
Angie Harrell recently appeared in a commercial for Toyota automobiles.
Alexandra Hoge co-directed Tom Stoppard’s Hapgood for WSC in Arlington, VA.
Maranda Kosten has been working as a teaching artist with the Starr Program at PS 62 in the Bronx.
Rebecca Lane just finished a run of The Twilight Zone - Live on Stage! at Theatre West in Los Angeles.
Cheryl Leibert appeared in Girl in Heat at The Michael Weller Theatre in New York City; the production was directed by Drama faculty member Robert Walden.
Nedra McClyde is now a proud member of Equity, as she embarks on a national tour.
Brian Olsen completed a tour with Theatreworks/USA as production stage manager.
Denyse Owens (see 03)
Elba Sette-Camara performed in the workshop presentation of Misterioso-119 at the Lark Play Development Center.  The production originated at the Berkshire Theatre Festival, and will also have a reading at New York Theatre Workshop.
Keisha Zollar, a featured player in the improvisational group “Eight is NEVER Enough,” can be seen performing stand up and improvisational comedy throughout the city.
