REGIONAL NETWORKS:

We are currently developing regional networks to keep alumni connected around the U.S. and around the world! If you would like to be a contact for your region, contact us. To see what is happening so far, check out the regional networks page.

ALUMNI CARDS:

Alumni Association membership cards were mailed in September. If you live in the U.S. and did not receive your card, let us know.

ALUMNI SURVEYS:

This fall we will be working with Indiana University on a field test for the Strategic National Arts Alumni Project, an online survey system to collect, track, and disseminate data about the artistic lives and careers of former students trained at design schools. We will be conducting a survey of Parsons alumni who graduated in 2004, 1999, 1994, and 1989. If you graduated from Parsons in one of those years, make sure we have your current email address on file. Participation will be by email only. Rest assured that your information will be kept confidential. If you do not wish to participate in this project, please let us know.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in our recent university-wide alumni survey. The response was better than expected and we collected very helpful information. The executive summary of findings is available here. If you would like the full report, contact us.

LINKEDIN:

The official New School alumni group on LinkedIn has over 1,100 members! You can search by key words in the group or by name. This is just another outlet for professional networking among your fellow alumni. We will also post career services calendars, workshops, etc. to the discussion board so make sure you're subscribed to the feed! If you have LinkedIn account, click here then log in to access the New School group (please note that you must be approved as a member first). If you have questions, contact us.

FACEBOOK:

Our Facebook presence is growing by the day! Become a fan of The New School Alumni Association and get updates about your fellow alumni, events, and more! Trying to get that "New School network" tag on your profile? You need your alumni email account to do that! If you don't know how to access your alumni email account, contact us. (Please note you do not have to use your alumni email account to join Facebook or to become a fan.)

Congratulations and welcome to The New School Alumni Association! Stay tuned for an email to your student account, which will give you information about your alumni email.

While there you can also show your email in your online directory listing enabling fellow alumni to contact you.
