Alumni Email
All graduates* of The New School’s eight divisions are eligible for an alumni email address. The format of the address is firstname.lastname@alumni.newschool.edu. The alumni email address provides you with a consistent, professional-looking address that connects you with your alma mater. Your alumni email account does not change, making it easier for us and your former classmates or other contacts to reach you! It also makes it easier for you to contact staff and faculty at the university and allows you to search for fellow alumni! Within your alumni email account, you have access to the New School email system address book, the alumni email system address book and a personal address book where you can store your contacts.
The alumni email system has standard email functionality along with POP/IMAP service so you can set-up other email clients to automatically access your New School alumni email. Also, you can set forward rules on this account so email that is received here will automatically be sent to another email account, such as yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc. This is useful if you believe you won’t remember to log in and check another account.
Your account has 100MB of space and can receive images and photos.
And now, the username and password from your alumni email account can be used for free wireless access throughout the New School campus!
*Alumni email accounts can only be created for those who received a degree or credit certificate from The NewSchool. Accounts for recent graduates will become available after degrees are conferred, usually about three months after graduation. Email addresses will not be given to non-conferred or continuing education alumni. |
