Teaching Resources for Graduate Teaching Assistants and Fellows

Graduate students who are selected to teach will be invited to attend the University Topics in Pedagogy Seminar in the semester when they first begin to teach. Topics in Pedagogy is a non-credit seminar series that appears on the student's transcript and is required for first-time Teaching Assistants or Teaching Fellows. The purpose of the seminar is to provide a context for participants to reflect critically on the practice of teaching, to consider new information regarding pedagogy and to acquire new skills. The seminar can be re-taken if desired and if room is available, as each time it is offered the presenters and topics will be different.
