CONVOCATION 2007

Students, faculty, and staff of The New School were invited to mark the opening of the 2007-2008 academic year at this year's Convocation. The program included President Kerrey 's Welcome, Presentation of the Distinguished University Teaching Awards, Provost Lee's Remarks, and the Aims of Education address by Katie Salen, associate professor in the Department of Communication Design and Technology at Parsons The New School for Design. Convocation was followed by the 11th Annual Welcome Block Party.
