Instructions
Folding and Finishing
Both offset and high-speed copy jobs can be cut to almost any size
requested. Indicate the dimensions needed on your requisition. The
"finished" size refers to the size after cutting and folding.
We offer several different types of folds on paper sizes ranging
from 3.5" x 5" to 14" x 20". Please specify
the type you would like by name after referring to the illustrations
below. All of the above should be noted on your requisition under
"Special Instructions."
Collating and Binding
Collating for High-Speed Duplicating jobs is explained in the High-Speed
Duplication Section. For offset jobs we offer more limited services.
We can collate jobs with a maximum of 14 sheets per finished piece.
Once your job is collated there are a number of binding services
available (please allow additional time for binding).
Stapling
We can staple along the margin or fold and staple booklets up to
22 sheets with a maximum size of 13" x 18" and a minimum
size of 5 1/2 " x 8 1/2". We also offer heavy-duty stapling
of up to 120 sheets.
Hole-Punching
Paper can be drilled with 1 to 3 holes to fit standard binders.
We can also custom drill for other books. No minimum required.
Glue
We can glue jobs and back them with cardboard to make pads up to
100 sheets. In addition, NCR forms with up to 5 parts will be delivered
glued in the following color order only (beginning with top sheet):
white, yellow, pink, goldenrod, green.
Color Printing
All two-color jobs should be discussed with our department before
a mechanical is prepared.
