Restoring Inner-city Communities

For their collaboration on a project called The Erbograph Building: Rebirth of a Brownfield Site, a team of students from Milano, Parsons and the City University of New York won the JP Morgan Chase Community Development competition for the third time in four years. The team’s project restores an abandoned and contaminated film storage warehouse in the Bradhurst neighborhood of Harlem, converting it into a multi-use building that will house a community organization and health facility. Financing to make this project a reality is now being raised through a capital campaign, government appropriations and local and private grants.
