• Associate's Degrees for Professionals

    Associate's Degrees for Professionals
  • Parsons' associate’s degrees are defined by creative skill-building that propels you toward your design career goals. Whether you want to enter a new industry or advance in the field you’re in, you learn all you need to make a career change in three to four semesters of full-time study. Drawing on our NYC setting and the resources of our university home, you gain hands-on experience with industry leaders, build a creative network, and graduate prepared for any professional pivot.

  • Associate’s Programs

  • Parsons' AAS programs enable mature students without a professional or academic background in design to launch a new career in fashion, communication design, or interior design industries. Graduates go on to join major companies and organizations around the world, and some start their own independent practice right out of the gate.
  • Parsons is part of The New School, a comprehensive university offering a range of studies, providing you with a broad learning community and numerous opportunities. You benefit from collaborative projects that bring together students from across the university, minors enabling you to tailor your education, and partners who enrich your research and guide your making.
  • As you move through your degree program, your mentors include world-renowned practitioners who bring to the classroom hands-on expertise, industry best practices, and connections needed to make you relevant.

  • Beyond the Classroom

Our extensive resources prepare you for professional success. Coursework and career services staff give you access to a network of industry partners, and the university’s libraries, computer centers, and the cutting-edge tools of the Making Center support your creative work.
