<p>Faculty and staff should contact their primary care provider to discuss whether they should receive the H1N1 vaccination.<br /></p>

You can take preventative action by getting your flu shot right now.
It’s that simple. <br /><br /><strong>Seasonal Flu Vaccines</strong> are available in your neighborhood. Please visit <a title="https://a816-healthpsi.nyc.gov/FluPublic/searchByBoro.do" href="https://a816-healthpsi.nyc.gov/FluPublic/searchByBoro.do">https://a816-healthpsi.nyc.gov/FluPublic/searchByBoro.do</a> , and put in your zip code to find the nearest site where seasonal vaccines are available. <br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">H1N1 Flu Vaccines</span>
have started to arrive at Student Health Services in small quantities.
The currently available vaccine is the intra-nasal version, which is
not recommended for individuals with allergies to eggs or pre-existing
medical conditions (i.e. pregnant women, adults with chronic medical
conditions such as asthma or diabetes, or individuals with
immunosuppression). At this time Student Health Services is offering
free H1N1 vaccine for students without pre-existing medical conditions
as described above, and are 24 years of age or younger. For more

<p><strong>Employees:</strong> You must complete and submit an Employee Notice of Suspected H1N1 notification found on </p>
<a title="my.newschool.edu" href="http://my.newschool.edu/">my.newschool.edu</a>, or call Human Resources 212.229.5671 x4942. You must also inform your supervisor of your absence.
