Les Kanturek is an illustrator, and designer. He received a BFA in Illustration from Parsons and an MFA in Printmaking from SUNY New Paltz. Les has been teaching in the Illustration department at Parsons since 1991. His clients include: McGraw-Hill, Viking/ Penguin, Newsday, Business Week, The New York Times, The Washington Post, CBS Records, New York Daily News, Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, General Motors. His work as both an illustrator and designer has appeared in 3x3, American Illustration, Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, and Print's Regional Design Annual. Awards Include: Society of Illustrators, LA; PRINT Casebooks; Book Builders of Boston, VOYA, Society of School Librarians.
