Tamar Samir is a multi-disciplinary designer based in New York. She focuses on typography, animation, and clothing design. Tamar has worked as an independent consultant on design and branding of television channels such as AMC, Spike and Lifetime. She was most recently creative director at Nickelodeon/MTV Networks, directing the on-air and off-air brand 2004-2008. Currently she works freelance and teaches yoga. Tamar holds an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons The New School for Design in New York, and a BFA in Fashion Design from Shenkar School of Engineering and Design in Tel Aviv.
