Designing typefaces requires a combination of dedication, skill, and knowledge. This course gives students a general overview of the history of type design and an introduction to current methods and tools. Students will design letterforms, carefully convert them to digital form, and compose them into working digital fonts.Open to: CMD and DTC majors
