New Media Art: Past, Pres, Fut

This class will be a combination of reading, meeting, and making. We will read about those working as "new media artists" before such a term even existed. We will also be examining the contemporary landscape of artists/practitioners through field trips, studio visits, and guest speakers. And we will develop our own work. The class will consist of reading, writing, and numerous studio visits and guest speakers.Open to: MTC majors only
