This course is an intensive project-based studio, focusing of the principles and elements of two-dimensional design, particularly as they relate to interactive, print and time-based media. Students will produce projects with increasing complexity, focusing on: visual composition, typography, color, imaging, and design for a specific audience. Emphasis is on creative solutions to problems, historic precedents, critical awareness and development of design vocabulary.
