Joel Stoehr maintains an independent studio practice as a visual artist and designer, selected exhibitions include Peirogi Gallery, Brooklyn; Randolph Macon College, Ashland, VA; Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.; and Rare Gallery in NY, NY.Stoehr received a BFA in painting from Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA in sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art , and has studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, ME. Stoehr assisted on construction projects with the Parsons Design Workshop from 2005-2009, and acted as Construction Faculty for the Parsons Design Workshop from 2009-2014.
