Floriana has been a part-time faculty in the School of Fashion since 2010.
She primarily teaches sophomore and junior-level BFA students but has additionally taught Pre-College Parsons Academy, in Parsons First Year and served as a patternmaker and 3D consultant for the MFA Fashion Design and Society. Floriana additionally serves as part-time faculty in the School of Fashion at the Pratt Institute.
Floriana has worked in increasingly high-level technical design positions at companies such as Emanuel Ungaro, Missoni Spa, Calvin Klein and Prada/Miu Miu.
Most recently, she serves as a technical designer for Area Studio in New York.
Floriana received her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from Accademia d’Alta Moda e D’Arte del Costume Koefia in Rome Italy. She additionally received associate’s degrees in Patternmaking/Grading from Istituto Secoli in Milan Italy. Floriana is fluent in English, Italian and French and has a conversational level knowledge of Spanish
