    Part-time Assistant Professor

    Profile:

    Ranjit has been a part-time faculty member in the School of Fashion since 2002. He has taught sophomore, junior and senior level students in the BFA Fashion Design program. In 2012, Ranjit was nominated for University Teaching Award, an award that honors faculty members who embody the highest standards for teaching at The New School.
     
    Ranjit has held long-term designer-level roles at Nicole Miller and Shameeza Embroideries respectively. He most recently served as a freelance designer for Shameeza Embroideries working with fashion brands such as; Ralph Lauren, Donna Karen, Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Isaac Mizrahi, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, J. Crew, Armani, Valentino, Dolce & Gabanna, Roberto Cavalli, Victor and Rolf, Versace, Ellie Saab, Manolo Blahnik, among others. 
     
    Ranjit received his BFA in Fashion Design (Menswear) with honors, from Parsons School of Design.
