This course is an essential introduction to the business of fashion. It provides students with an overview of the industry structure across primary, secondary and auxiliary markets and explores the interrelationships between design, production and marketing. Fashion is examined from a modern and historic perspective, identifying new careers in apparel and textile companies. Open to: AFM majors and non-majors
