This one semester course, part of the programs required core curriculum, introduces participants to the workings of a 4 x 5 camera and sheet film as it relates to the studio practice. This course covers camera movements and exposure. Additional attention is paid to the location and fine art practices that rely on the special attributes of the view camera.
