This course is an introduction to web design and development. Projects will cover planning and implementation of websites that offer common functionality as well as adhere to good usability, accessibility, compatibility, and validation practices. HTML, XHTML, CSS, interactivity, information architecture and navigational structures will be explored, as well as usability and web design strategies. Students will create a web site of their choice by the end of the term. Not recommended for CDT students. Primary software used: HTML, CSS.
