This conversation will bring together directors David France and Jim Hubbard, who have never before spoken on the same stage, concerning their documentation of the events that unfolded during early days of the ongoing AIDS pandemic and subsequent activism. The evening's discussion will be moderated by Tony Whitfield, Associate Dean of Civic Engagement at Parsons The New School for Design. Screenings of their gripping documentaries, How to Survive a Plague and United in Anger will precede the conversation, along with a screening of the film The Other City, directed by Susan Koch. 11:00 a.m.—The Other City (2010, dir.
