This University in Exile event features Chen Guangcheng, the blind activist lawyer recently permitted to leave China who is currently a visiting scholar at New York University School of Law; Jerome A. Cohen, professor of Law and co-director of the U.S.-Asia Law Institute at New York University School of Law, who was active in securing Chen Guangcheng's release; and Ira Belkin, executive director of the U.S.-Asia Law Institute at NYU School of Law.
