This course serves as the first semester of a graduate-level statistics sequence with a primary emphasis on regression, variance-analytical, and factor-analytical approaches. The course is characterized by a bottom-up, problem-solving approach, starting with research questions and answering them based on empirical data. Accordingly, the course is taught hands-on, using SAS, a powerful statistical software package. Prerequisite: GPSY 5130 or its equivalent. Attendance of TA sessions is mandatory for this course.
