The fifth International Schenker Symposium will be held at Mannes College The New School for Music in New York City March 15-17, 2013. The mission of the symposium is to  demonstrate the breadth of scholarly, artistic, and pedagogical work stimulated by the brilliant musical theorist, Heinrich Schenker (1868–1935). This concert is hosted by the Symposium and open to the public.  The PROGRAM will include Beethoven's String Quartet in B-Flat Major, op. 18 no. 6 and Schoenberg's Pierrot lunaire, op. 21.
